These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of extremefishingevents.com (the “Site”), participation in Extreme Fishing Events (“we,” “us,” or “our”) tournaments and activities, and any purchases, registrations, or interactions made through the Site. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to register for adult events or make purchases.
  • You may register a minor for youth events only if you are their parent or legal guardian.
  • You must comply with all local, state, and federal fishing regulations, including license and permit requirements.

2. Event Registration & Participation

By registering for an event, you agree to all rules, regulations, and safety requirements specific to that event.

2.1 Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering, including fishing license/permit details where required.

2.2 Non-Transferable Entries

Event registrations, tickets, and entries are non-transferable unless explicitly allowed as part of the event rules.

2.3 Event Changes

We may modify, delay, or cancel events due to weather conditions, safety concerns, regulatory updates, or other factors beyond our control. We reserve the right to make such adjustments without prior notice when necessary.

2.4 Refund Policy

Refunds may be issued only under conditions listed on the event registration page. Failure to complete required registration steps (including electronic derby cards when applicable) may result in disqualification and/or refund as described during registration.

3. Purchases & Payment

All payments are processed through third-party payment providers. By making a purchase, you agree to their terms and authorize us or our payment partners to charge your selected payment method.

We are not responsible for delays, errors, or disputes arising from third-party payment processors.

4. User Accounts

If the Site offers user accounts, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree not to share your account or access credentials with others.

5. Assumption of Risk

Participation in fishing events involves inherent risks, including but not limited to weather hazards, equipment failure, water-related dangers, wildlife encounters, and physical exertion. By participating, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with the event.

6. Waiver & Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release and hold harmless Extreme Fishing Events, its owners, organizers, affiliates, sponsors, and volunteers from any and all liability arising from:

  • Personal injury or death
  • Loss or damage of personal property
  • Accidents or incidents during an event
  • Negligence of participants or third parties
  • Use or misuse of equipment

You agree that you are solely responsible for your actions during any event and for ensuring your own safety.

7. Rules, Judging & Disputes

Event rules—such as allowed gear, boundaries, catch requirements, measurement standards, and time windows—are enforced by event officials. All judging decisions are final.

Violation of event rules may result in disqualification without refund.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following while using the Site or participating in events:

  • Providing false or misleading information
  • Cheating, tampering, or attempting to manipulate results
  • Harassment, abusive behavior, or unsafe actions
  • Using the Site for illegal or unauthorized purposes
  • Attempting to access restricted areas or interfere with Site functionality

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site—including logos, images, text, designs, and branding—is the property of Extreme Fishing Events unless otherwise noted. You may not copy, distribute, modify, or use any content without written permission.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties
